Empowering Public Benefit Organizations for a Better Kenya

At the Charities Association of Kenya, we are a membership-based organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening the public benefit organizations (PBOs) sector in our country. Our mission is to foster an enabling environment where PBOs can thrive, collaborate, and maximize their impact on the communities they serve.

Our History:

Established in 2012, the Charities Association of Kenya was born out of a collective vision to unite the voices and efforts of PBOs across the nation. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a vibrant network, representing a diverse range of organizations working towards positive social change in areas such as education, healthcare, environmental conservation, human rights, and community development.

 Membership is open to all public benefit organizations (PBOs) registered in Kenya.

 The annual membership fee is Kshs. 10,000 for national PBOs and Kshs. 20,000 for international PBOs operating in Kenya.
